Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is John W. Scafetta, and I am a veteran writer, journalist and author based in Atlanta, Georgia. This website is designed to give you a feel for what I’ve been lucky enough to accomplish during my 10-plus years of working in media. 

From the Orange County (Calif.) Register and the Las Vegas Review-Journal, to the Los Angeles Times, the Rochester (NY) Democrat & Chronicle and several titles under Bonnier Media's umbrella in New York City, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to follow my passion for words by writing for some of the most well-respected publications in the country. 

While my writing has shifted platforms throughout the years, my drive for storytelling has only grown stronger. Currently, I serve as an Advisor, Marketing Communications with Canon U.S.A., working inside the Corporate Communications Department to deliver powerful messaging and stories.
